The Toronto Lawn Tennis Club has long been regarded as one of Canada’s premiere tennis facilities. With 3 glass-backed international courts, a multi-colored doubles court and Mark Porter, our full-time resident squash professional, the same can be said for our squash program.
With 200 adults and over 125 junior players, the Toronto Lawn has one of the most active and dynamic squash programs in the country. A variety of House Leagues, Round Robins, ladders, and clinics have been designed to provide all players, from outright beginners to advanced, the opportunity to learn and/ or improve their game in a fun and social environment.
The needs of elite players will be met as well. The Toronto Lawn is home to some of Canada’s best singles and doubles squash players including former Canadian Women’s Champion: Marnie Baizley, 2010 Canadian Doubles Champion Seanna Keating, former World #10, two-time Canadian Champion and Pan American double Gold medalist Graham Ryding, as well as 6-time Canadian Champion Shahier Razik. The Toronto Lawn is also home to many top Canadian Junior Players including Julien Gosset : 2015 U17 Ontario Championships 4th Place, Alexi Gosset: 2014 Ontario Junior Open U19 finalist, and Ella Baldwin: 2015 Ontario Junior Championships U13 Champion.
The club also boasts seven Toronto and District League teams including a “Division 1” singles team, a Women’s A doubles team, and several other singles, doubles and junior teams. All players, from beginner to the most experienced will find the squash games and activities they are looking for at the Toronto Lawn.
